GB/T699-1988. A106B includes standard and material, which generally refers to seamless steel pipe. A106 is the American standard material, consisting of A, B and C, among which A106A is the C and Si component with the tensile strength of 330MPa; A106B is the C, Mn and Si component with the tensile strength of 415MPa; A106C is the C, Mn and Si component with the tensile strength of 485MPa.

A106B structural steel has higher strength, better plasticity and cutting performance, certain welding performance, small parts can be QUENched and strengthened, mostly used in manufacturing requirements of higher strength parts, such as gear, shaft, sprocket, keys, bolts, nuts, agricultural machinery with steel, transport chain and chain joints.
