Laser cutting equipment can cut stainless steel below 4mm, adding oxygen in the laser beam can cut 20mm thick carbon steel, but after oxygenated cutting will form a thin oxide film on the cutting surface. The maximum thickness of the cutting can be increased to 20mm, but the size error of the cutting parts is large. The price of laser cutting equipment is quite expensive, about 1.5 million yuan or more.

Electrical discharge wire cutting is referred to as wire cutting. It is developed on the basis of electric spark perforation and forming processing. Ultra-high pressure water cutting, also known as water knife and water jet, is the high energy (380MPa) water flow generated by ordinary water after multi-stage pressurization, and then cut through a very fine ruby nozzle (Φ0.1-0), this cutting method is called ultra-high pressure water cutting.
