What can tungsten high-speed steel be used for?

Tungsten high-speed steel is the most used high-speed steel in China, it has good comprehensive performance, that is, high hardness (62~66HRC), strength, toughness and heat resistance, red hardness up to 620 degrees Celsius.

The cutting edge can be sharpened and has strong versatility. It is often used in the manufacture of complex tools such as drill, milling cutter, broach, gear cutter and tap. However, its strength decreases with the increase of cross section size. The typical grade of tungsten high-speed steel is W18Cr4V.
