What is the significance of cooling section of hot dip galvanizing line

Thermal diffusion between Fe and Zn continues after the strip leaves the zinc pan. It is proved that the higher the strip temperature is, the stronger the diffusion reaction is. This will thicken the Fe-Zn alloy layer and affect the toughness of the coating. In order to terminate this thermal diffusion as soon as possible, forced cooling must be applied to galvanized strip steel in time. It is generally believed that when the temperature of strip steel is lower than 300℃, this thermal diffusion will be weakened to a small degree.
